Registration Prospectus

Course contents: Concepts and methods of meditation, 7-point sitting posture, 8-form moving meditation, walking and sleeping meditation, application in daily life, etc. 

Attention:
1. Full attendance at all modules of this Course is required. After successfully completing the Course, you will be eligible to join in all basic meditation activities, such as 1-day Chan retreat, 2-day Chan retreat or Intermediate Meditation Class. You can also participate in the 7-day Beginners’ Chan retreat.

2. Current registration is only opened for May 2026 session. Registration closing date: 06/05/2026, or once all places have been filled.

3. On the day of the course:
a. Registration time is between 8:20 am to 8:50 am.
b. Please wear loose-fitting long pants and T-shirt.
c. Please bring your own water bottle.

4. Only fully completed registration forms will be processed.

5. All registrations must be accompanied by full payment of the fees. Fees are inclusive of the Course, lunch and completion certificate. Failure to do so will be considered as an incomplete registration.

6. Once your registration form has been received, an acceptance letter will be emailed to you within 4 weeks, and a pre-event notification will be emailed 14 days before the course commences. If the time interval between your registration and course commencement is less than 4 weeks, we will email both the acceptance letter and pre-event notification to you 2 weeks after your registration has been submitted.

7. If you have not received any notification within the duration mentioned above, kindly contact Dharma Drum Mountain at 03-7490 2298 or 03-7490 2299 for immediate assistance.

8. To allow more friends the opportunity to begin their meditation journey, priority is gently given to those who are attending the Beginner’s Meditation Class for the first time. If you have previously attended the course and feel inspired to revisit it, you are most welcome to email Dharma Drum Mountain at [email protected]. Should spaces become available, you will be informed accordingly.

9. ⁠If for any reason you are unable to attend the class, we would be grateful if you could let us know, whenever possible, at least 14 days before the course begins, so that we may make the necessary arrangements. As preparations are made in advance, please understand that once your registration has been confirmed, the fee is non-refundable. If you wish to join a future session, a fresh registration and fee payment will be required, as fees are not transferable between sessions.

10. All updates or information will be sent via email by Dharma Drum Mountain ([email protected]). Please check your spam mail as well when checking your emails.

After completing and submitting the registration form, you will be directed to the shopping cart page. After selecting your payment amount (RM80 for general public and RM50 for undergraduate students & K12 school teenagers), the system will take you to the Razer (formerly MOLPay) payment page. For those who are not familiar with online payment, you may refer to the E-Wallet & Online Banking Payment Guide (currently it is written in Mandarin with process flow screenshot)
